What are Eyelash Extensions?
Eyelash Extensions are a revolutionary new service and product that provides longer, thicker, luscious and natural looking eyelashes. Lash Extensions are semi-permanent individual eyelash extensions that are shaped to replicate each client’s natural eyelash. Since each client has different sizes and shapes eyelashes, I carry various shapes and lengths to accommodate each client’s specific needs. Lash extensions are applied directly to individual eyelashes one by one for a natural look and feel. Perfect for special occasions or for everyday wear.
What do eyelash extensions look and feel like?
Eyelash extensions should look and feel completely natural just like real lashes. Because the extensions are applied using the one by one technique you do barely feel them and they look just like real lashes, only better! Each extension is shaped and polished like a natural eyelash. The most popular is the dramatic C-curl recommended for those who have a natural curl to their lashes or for those addicted to an eyelash curler. The volume up J-Curl (B-Curl lashes) has more of a natural curl - most popular with those whom tent to have straight lashes. Eyelash extensions are extremely light weight; most people who have them never even feel them. No one will ever know they're not real people will just think you were born with beautiful lashes!

How long will my Eyelash Extensions Last?
Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent and will last indefinitely with regular fills. Without regular fills and with some proper care, eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle. Most individual’s eyelash cycles vary between 35 to 60 days. During this period, eyelashes naturally fall out in intervals. Everyone's experience will differ based on day to day activities but over all fills should only be required once a month. For new clients I recommend a full set and fills every three to five weeks.
How long does it take to have Eyelash Extension put on?
The application process for eyelash extensions typically takes between 90mins – 2hrs. You will sign in at each appointment; lay comfortably on a massage table with your eyes closed. I will then apply an under eye gel pad to cover your lower lashes, and tape for extra protection, and do a quick cleaning and primer. Then the fun begins, the extensions will be applied to each individual eyelash on a one by one basis and you will open your eyes to the lashes you’ve always dreamed about having.
How often should I get fills?
It is recommended to get a fill every four to five weeks. If you wait too long your eyelash extensions will fall out and you will require a full set. Natural shedding, excessive exposure to steam or touching your eyes alot may cause the extensions to fall sooner. A fill is needed to replace the lashes that have fallen out. Fills average about 60 minutes.
Can I use mascara with Eyelash Extensions?
Yes, although mascara is not necessary it can be worn. It must be water base mascara Do Not Use Oil-based or Water-Proof mascara. Non approved mascara can dissolve the bonding agent causing the extensions to fall sooner. Take care when washing off the mascara; only use a water based eye makeup remover.
Will eyelash extension harm my own lashes?
No, with proper application; using the correct lengths and thicknesses of the extensions there should be no harm done to your own lashes. In some cases, frequent use of mascara can weigh down the extension and by touching or rubbing, or picking your lashes is very hard on your lashes can damage the lash and result in eyelash loss.
Can I swim, shower, exercise with my eyelash extensions?
Yes! The High Performance Medical Grade Bonding Agent is specially formulated with a waterproof bonding agent. This allows you to perform normal everyday activities such as shower, exercise, and swim. I do carry a few sensitive adhesives for those whom have allergies or sensitive skin. (click here to read about the specially formulated products you can use and purchase to prolong the life of your eyelash extensions).
Are extensions and glue FDA approved? Is it safe?
Currently the FDA does not regulate the eyelash extension industry; it can be difficult to know because many of the adhesives out there are foreign-made adhesives. I personally carry some foreign made and American made, All are which Medical Grade adhesives that have lasting properties without negative side effects. The application process is extremely relaxing most of my clients fall asleep during the procedure
How do I choose the look that I want?
Eyelash extensions are available in many different materials, lengths, and thickness. For new clients, we first discuss the look you are aiming to achieve. Then we determine what your lashes can hold. This is very important because each person's lashes will vary in strength and length and must be taken into consideration to prevent any damage when creating a look for you. I have several Eyelash Services ranging from the All Natural to The Uptown Girl for the serious eyelash connoisseur.
(Be sure to read The Menu section about the different eyelash services and pricing).
